We’re casting the net quite wide in this week’s music production video tutorial so that you guys can tell us what direction you want to go in next…

‘Noise’ means something different from a technical perspective to what your grandparents call the music we listen to. What we’ve done this week is take a really big subject and throw a few pieces of information at you to see what you already know, what you find useful, and in which direction – if at all – you want more in depth help!

    I love this. One of the serious gaps in my production knowledge is noise usage. Yesterday I created a sort of metallic breathy flute sound with Thor, but that was a sort of fluke. I’d like to learn more about the rhythmic parts, especially using Kong and/or Ableton.
